The app available in the Google Play store is an unreleased version published by Gameloft themselves which is, for all in intents and purposes, a beta of the game. It’s pretty astounding what the graphics in AAA Android games look like nowadays, but unfortunately, there’s a few caveats with it.įirst off: the game isn’t officially released yet for Android. We downloaded it yesterday and we’re really blown away by the graphics of the game, and it honestly looks and feels like a console game. ![]() The game was earlier released for iOS at the beginning of the year. ![]() Thankfully Gameloft is making the Android version of Asphalt 9: Legends available for download. It’s also a fun game too in short stretches, despite being peppered by in-game-purchases.īut as with anything in the tech world, Asphalt 8 is already pretty long in the tooth, and its age is starting to show. The game is graphically rich, which taxes GPUs in chipsets heavily. Gameloft’s Asphalt 8 has been one of our go-to benchmarking games to test out smartphones for a while now, and for good reason. ![]() It’s still in beta, and not all phones can run it
